Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)—a global nonprofit on a mission to end childhood hunger. Every dollar will directly fund life-saving, scientifically designed meals for children in crisis—kids who are growing up in communities where food is scarce and hope is even scarcer.
Once fully funded, this campaign will culminate in a powerful volunteer event at the Richardson, TX FMSC site, where Charla and a group of local supporters will come together to pack thousands of meals by hand. It’s not just about raising money—it’s about showing up, giving back, and feeding futures.

After volunteering at a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) meal-packing event, Charla Gervers walked away forever changed. The experience was more than hands-on—it was heart-opening. Surrounded by her family and fellow volunteers, moved by powerful stories and a mission rooted in dignity, Charla saw firsthand how a few hours of service could send hope across the globe.
Inspired by what she experienced, Charla knew she had to do more. To celebrate her July 4th birthday, she’s inviting her community to join her in giving back—rallying support and volunteers from across DFW to return to FMSC and pack thousands of meals together.
